MINDBODY
The premise

You don't rise.
You fall to your training.

Under pressure, you don't magically become someone better than you are. You default to whoever you've trained yourself to be. Which means the outcome is mostly decided before you ever show up — in the reps nobody saw, and in the picture you'd already built in your mind.

Physical training and mental preparation aren't two separate things. They're the same one. Mental Game goes in depth on how to embody the principles of preparing for and doing the hard things. You'll prepare your mind — with a plan and real intensity — and aim every bit of it at the hard things in your life.

It doesn't matter where you're starting or how much you've already done. This is about going to a place inside yourself you haven't been.

Training begins in the mind.
Not woo. Wiring.

Your mind can't
tell the difference.

Think about the last time you were anxious about something that hadn't happened yet. Your heart rate climbed. Your breathing changed. Maybe you got the shakes. Nothing was happening — your mind was simulating it, and your body responded as if it were real.

That's not a party trick. It's called functional equivalence: rehearsing an action in vivid detail fires many of the same circuits as doing it. Athletes have used it forever — visualizing the lift, the race, the moment, until they break a real sweat sitting still. When the real thing comes, it isn't new or easier. It's familiar. You're not caught off guard or stuck in a pattern you've been trapped in. New preparation and focus meet you in a new moment — the moment you create change. The moment you DO THE HARD THINGS.
